Exercise Tradewinds is a United States Southern Command-sponsored, Caribbean-focused, multinational military exercise aimed at strengthening security cooperation and operational readiness among partner nations. This annual event focuses on maritime security, interagency coordination, and disaster response. Tradewinds 2025, the 40th iteration of the exercise, will be co-led by the United States Army South (USARSOUTH) and the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF). It will feature the participation of military and security forces from across the Caribbean region and beyond. This year’s exercise will take place in and around the Chaguaramas Peninsula, providing a dynamic training environment to enhance interoperability and build lasting partnerships.
